Please stop everything you're doing because next month is the 20th anniversary of Clueless, so there are a ton of articles about it. First up is an interview with the costume designer, Mona May, and the director, Amy Heckerling about the inspiration behind the fashion of clueless. Secondly, someone has done an oral history of Clueless (the historian in me would like to clarify that this is not actually an oral history, but more a compilation of interviews).
Staying in Southern California, we have a piece from LA Taco, who "covers food, culture, and the taco lifestyle in Los Angeles, CA" (!!!) about how the taco emoji should look like actual tacos look (and not like Taco Bell thinks tacos look). One quick point of order: the taco emoji that everyone is talking about is by no means official, it's just an image that's been going around for a while. For further reading, I recommend Planet Taco: A Global History of Mexican Food.
Long reads about mysterious bodies washing ashore: The Lost Man and The Wetsuitman.
Need a Star Wars fix, but don't have the 12 hours to spend? That's ok, you can now watch all 6 at the same time! I couldn't make it past C3P0 and R2D2 on the Tantive IV, but I wish you godspeed. Also, the evolution of the Star Wars logo is fascinating.
